Phase one of reopening starts june 1st

due to a   three week  delay of  opening   all  phase one  businesses in Austin island will start opening on June 1st
here are the phases
Phase 1: Restaurants, Malls, Beaches, Municipal Pools, Bowling alleys with less than 50 lanes,Certain  travel centers

New night speed limits on capital city byway and Southern inverse

There will be  new night speed limits on  the capital city byway and the southern inverse 
 The new speed limits will be in effect from 7:00pm to 4:00 am starting monday.  The speed limits are as  follows 

Capital City Byway        65 M.P.H/ 55M.P.H within capital city 
Southern Inverse            70 M.P.H (65 M.P.H between exits 34-47).

But During the day time  drivers can go at a speed that is reasonable and safe.

Sunday is the last day to make sure that your ballot is an absentee ballot

            Due to the memorial day holiday on Monday. You must file your make shift ballot as an ABSENTEE BALLOT before the June,6th 1st round election and therefore your ballot must be count as a valid absentee ballot.   In order to  have your ballot counted as an  absentee  you must turn  your  make shift ballot in  between   5:30 am

Nunavut Town board referendum passed

in Nunavut town  the   referendum  proposing to make a unicameral  town board passed
 the proposition would make the bicameral legislature with a   9 member town board and a   five-member aldermen into a  14-member unicameral town board with 5 at large aldermen.

Where and When Can I vote in Austin island

     If anyone has questions about voting and where you can vote in the upcoming election in greater Austin island three weeks from now.  in the first round of the Austin island election you can vote from home and send the ballot to your local library. if you can't access  your local library you can drop it  off at a post office  in all 13 municipalities in  greater Austin island
   

what if I  am elderly and can't get out?

    If you are elderly and don't want to take that risk you can mail your ballot to the rainbow house at 123 unity way capital city,00127. And the ballot will be considered as an absentee ballot. if you have a  family member who is not elderly they can drop off your ballot to your local post office or your local office of motor vehicles in the 13 municipalities. but you must require an absentee ballot  11 days before both the first round and the runoff election voting days  May,24th for the first round  (because all government offices in Austin island are closed in greater Austin island the next day in observance of memorial day). and July,5th  for the runoff election. and the ballot must be turned in between 5:30 am-9:00 pm on June,5th and July,16th for both rounds respectively.


Do you need to register to vote in Austin island?

the answer is no, according to the Austin island voter responsibility act of 2020  "the voter shall not register to vote for any election" there are a few stipulations. in lines 334-335 of the law it states that "the voter must be a   resident of Austin island for 30 days before the said and stated election and an age of 15 years old. and that the voter should show id such as a  social security card and or a utility bill. as a proof of legal residency in greater Austin island.

What times are polls open and when do they close

polls will open at 5:30 am AIST  nationwide except for crander and capital city which open polls at
6:00 am AIST. and all polls close nationwide will close at 9:00 pm.The votes will be counted the next day.  this is  for  the 1st round and the runoff election

Election Day In Austin island is in Three weeks

   The first round of the Austin island king election will be on June,5th,2020 for voting and June,6th for results. There will be 11  candidates that will be on the ballot. Because the King threatened legal action to the Austin Island Election Committee, that the 100 signatories wouldn't work and that it would exclude certain candidates for nothing. Since the election committee waived the petition For the candidates all 11 remaining candidates will go and try and beat incumbent king Austin young. 
   
       The  Voting will happen from 5:30 am AIST (6 am for   Crander and capital city) to 9:00 pm AIST. Makeshift ballots are graciously accepted.  The candidates Are Austin Young (Seeking a first term), Louie Cabral, Sal arpeggio,  Skeeter Slums, Sammy Walworth,  and other candidates that are thinking of de throwing the king. the top two candidates will go to the runoff election on July,16-17 and the winner of the runoff election will be inaugurated on July,18th.   Because of this pandemic you can fill a  ballot out at home and drop it off in a  ballot box at the post office, Library, Legion centers, and anywhere that receives funding from the Austin island government. If you are incarcerated you could vote too because holding centers receive federal funding from the Austin island government.

Austin island officially put a phase on re-opening all non essential businesses

The Austin island government formally announced that there will be a phase to re-opening all nonessential businesses. the phases are as follows

Phase 1: May 7-June 4  Restaurants (For To-Go and or take out only)
Phase 2: June 5-July 12 Bars, Bowling Alleys, Appliance Stores, Barber Salons
Phase 3:July 13- August 18  TBD

The king will  do a press conference about the other phases sometime  next week. The king  said that  Schools would be in a later phase beacuse all of  the schools  in greater austin island are closed until  the rest of  the year and there fore  they would be under a possible phase   four of the re- opening but if the pandemic gets worse globally than  those plans must be delayed  to save as many as lives  as  the austin island health department can save

Austin island will shut down travel now to 152 countries

Due to the second wave of the Pandemic, King Austin Decided to close travel to 152 countries.
the countries that will be on the revised list are  Greece, Serbia, Ukraine, North Korea, All departments of  France, and many more. King Austin closed down Metropolitan France and forgot to close the overseas departments as well because those cases were not on world meters count. including Clipperton island which is state property of France and which is uninhabited obviously. Tokelau, North Macedonia, Palau are on the list of nations that will have travel advisory. he closed them out of fear that an infection can happen. and that it would save many lives.  the health minister of Austin island said that " even though the king's actions were a little late but it was just in the nick of time and plus it saved thousands of lives from this pandemic.  Austin island does not have any confirmed cases at all but it has done 30 tests per 1,000 residents making the largest test rate per 1,000,000 people at 30,000 people per million constituents.
