Jury Selection For Cabral Trial Tomorrow

Well the chief justice set  a date for jury hearings for the embezzlement scandal that many economists predict will collapse  the kingdom. many economists  say that the money stolen will bring the kingdom to its demise. as the money stolen from the bank may trigger the election. progressives and socialists want an impeachment trial  for the monarch. even though nine out of ten people trust the monarch. unemployment is at 37% after the bank of austin island fired 115 workers for whistle blowing about 40 million units in stolen money.  the monarch has yet to comment about it  

Police Report From Municipal Authorties Released Today

CAPITAL CITY- In  a  subsequent press confrence with the monarch the monarch released the police report from the   search at  mr cabrals   house.  the  monarch  read the police report and  said that the authorities found a glock, 19 bullets, 750,000 units in 100 unit bills, and  bank accounts of with drawals and  authorities found that there was a  cartel of 10 or more people involved. the authorities  found that  there was a bidding scheme to  give people laundered money inorder to play dirty politics.  here is  the  time line the authorities have from  July,5th onwards

yes the monarch  revised the assembly of people monarchial election in three days this comes after the monarch revises it  to the assembly of people who vote. here is how the election works the election is a secret ballot of the legislature.

-If no candidate gets a majority of the assembly members who are  not running, then  a second round happens.

The time is   crunching  before  the  monarchial  runoff election  is  about to happen here in austin island.  both of the   candidates are feeling the   fatigue  after breaking news reports and all of that schtick. 17 days until monarchial runoff

Time is  ticking for both candidates to get some votes  even though it is 17 days before the runoff who will decide the winner.  the candidates  who are contesting are people first party nominee and acting monarch austin young and moderate conservative independent nominee john smith. Even though   the Runoff is on the  29th   that doesnt mean that you can cast your ballot  before then   the earliest you can cast your ballot for early absentee voting  between  July,16th and 22nd at your local post office. the municipal post offices will still accept your ballot on election  day  between   5:00 am and 9:00 pm. or any time before election day.  then on  july,30th the monarch counts the votes  that  have been  cast.   remember the ballot is a blank piece of paper you drop in to a box  with the candidate you want to vote for.  then after all of the  elections are over the  complete results will be annoumced 

BREAKING NEWS bank of austin island filed a Lawsuit to both the appegio and cabral campaigns over the 40 million units that have been stolen from the bank

breaking news   from the  crander post new documents show that the bank of austin island  is suing  both the appegio and cabral campaign for a so called loan. the  bank states that this lawsuit is a way for the bank to carry out their own justice. there has been no comment from  the appegio and   the cabral campaigns about the investigation this is a   developing  story as  we speak. new details  on the  lawsuit   the  bank of austin island  wants 40 million units in punitive damages if both campaigns are found liable of  theft and

Monarch Says that 2021 budget will have 120 million units of shortfall and 1/3of that is coming from the embezzlement scandal

Austin Island politics have been  f ed up  the last two  weeks and   in the last two days  the monarch has to find a way to pay 120 million units for next years budget either by   taxable  donations or some sort odd way to make loose ends. some   government financial analyst say to cut finding from capital city programs or austin island public broadcasting which would mean a  fraction of  the  projected 2 billion unit budget is going to be cut according to next years budget in austin island  public broadcasting will recieve 12,500,000 units. the monarch has the hard decision to pull the  plug on big bird or  cut other thingsin the kingdoms   budget that are not so necessary or cut congressional pay. one third of  that  buget   shortfall goes back to bank  of austin island as repairations from the embezzled   40 million units. the other 80 million units  come from  municipal shortfalls.  since all of the smaller municipalities are thinking of using cranders trash service saving the government money to repay the bank.  this comes only   two and a  half weeks  prior to the  big runoff election the senate is   thiking of having a national vote and proportion the seats by national vote.

We havent really talked about the congressional elections  this year. the turnout for congressional elections are expected to be low  due to the  fact that most people are going to vote in the monarchial election the congressional election is diffrent the monarchial election. there is three days of election for the congressional elections. the congress of austin island  is elected diffrent then the monarch. for those  who dont know what the congress is  the congress of austin island is   the bicameral legislature of austin island. bicameral means  that there are two chambers.  the upper body is  the senate   there are  two senators per municipality for a  total of  26 senators. then  the lower body  is  the  house of delegates  there are 1-7 delegates per municipality  for a  total of  44 members. all   chambers are elected by  first past the post voting. unlike the monarch who is elected  by a two round system.   the election is  going to be like  this

19 days before monarchial runoff election the monarch says that he doesnt care about the polls he just cares about trying his best

In a  rare interview with the  the monarch the monarch says that i dont care about the polls what i care about is  to try your best and take risks. in a latest poll the monarch has dipped below 60% but is projected by many polls in austin island  to win the  runoff.  the monarch is excited about the election he says. "i cant wait to get this over   but the last three weeks have been nothing but news interviews and the embezzzlement scandal and  reopening  quickly but using a  social distancing tactic. then a reporter asked him  why did you delay reopening by three weeks.  the monarch said we delayed reopening by three weeks beacuse i thought that it wouldnt b safe to reopen  with out a social distancing plan. 

Monarch Signs executive order to start voting at 5:00am instead of 5:30 am

For the monarchial  runoff election  the monarch signs an executive order to start voting at 5:00 am on July,29th instead of 5:30 am. on July.16th early absentee voting will start and it will end on july,22nd. that doesnt mean that if you cast your absentee ballot after that it is not valid all absentee ballots must be cast by july,29th at 9:00pm in order to count.  if you have to work  you can cast an absentee ballot  at your municipal post office prior to then. like the first round election  the  ballots are cast by a blank piece of paper in each of  the candidates  ballot boxes.   and the monarch counts all of the  votes  the next day.  and the winner will be coronated on july,31st after the results are announced. 

KTA finds tax evasion but the KTA puts all of the taxed money as donations that are tax contributable

Breaking news  in  the  electiongate scandal  the kingdom tax authority  Finds that Mr.Cabrals   tax evasion is not clausable beacuse he paid histaxes in tax contributable donations   there  fore the authorities and   the monarch will speak to the press and   the district attorneys will dicuss  what they do about the  tax evasion charges   if they are dropped mr  cabral still  faces a total of 11 years in prision  and fines of 256,000 units at a minimum. in austin island paying your taxes in an equivalent  tax deductable donation is not illegal  but as long as it helps people. mr cabrals counterpart mr appegio is looking at 8 years in prison  the monarch has been cooperating with the investigation. now he is going  to think about what to do next. there is a  total of 35 people and none of them participated in the first round.  but all o  the other 33 people cooperated .

Monarch predicts any where from 2000 to 2500 people to vote

CAPITAL CITY- Monarch  predicts anywhere from 2000 to  2500 people to vote in  the runoff election which is pretty high turnout  compared to australia. with an elligible non-incarcerated electorate that is anywhere from 70% to 88% of the  non incarcerated voter populaton to vote which is double  the turnout in the first round. that is beacuse more people  are having a   voice beacuse the monarch is selling the voters a  tactic to get any one who has not got their job back to  get it  back soon. This claim is   true   beacuse more than half of the people that were unemployed on june fourth   went back  to work

23 days until the monarchial runoff and some questions may be anwsered before then

Question 1: Why  do  we  have a   runoff in the  first place

We have  a  runoff  because no candidate got  50% or more of  the   vote in  the 1st round election there fore  the  top two candidates advance to a  runoff   six weeks after  the  first round election

Question 2: When  would you expect the   results to come  in   for the election

Beacuse news  stations cannot  publish the  result which would result in a   fine of  250,000 units  the monarch counts the  results of the election after all of the  polls close by 9:00pm inorder for the monarch to count them

Question 3:  i have  been recently released from jail   can i  vote

Yes you  can vote   but you need some  court documents that prove that you  have been recently released. Failure  to do so is a level 5 crime in austin island and 27 sentencing points which is no jail time but  the judge can put you under house arrest.

Question 4:When  Do polls open and close  on election day

In austin island  polls open between 5:30 and 6 am. And all polls close at 9 pm. If  you  have an absentee ballot make sure to cast it   by july,29th at  9pm. Or if  you want to cast your absentee ballot early make sure  to cast it at  least  seven (7) days  prior to the election. The monarch will count all ballots the next day.

New Embezzlement Scandal Charges Have been Investigated

CAPITAL CITY- The Federal authorites have  revised the   charges for both Mr appegio and Mr cabral.

Mr.Cabral  faces one count of grand larceny,one count of voter fraud,one count of  bribery,and one count of tax evasion.according to the kingdoms criminal sentencing guidelines  those charges add up to a  grand total of 16 years in prison and a minimum  fine of 506,000 units. mr.appegio on the other hand had his charge of aiding and abetting to voter fraud was upgraded to voter fraud after a public preliminary investigation from the federal authorities.  according to the sentencing guidelines  Mr cabral is looking at grand total of 8 years and a  fine of 253,000 units.  beacuse the weapons possession and  bribery charges are still on the  table   the KBI  just announced   that 35 people including  the two candidates are  involved in the scandal. and  the monarch is looking at  if one of  those 35 know anything about the scandal

-May 28  appegio and   cabral bribe P.R. Tinselville to change the  electoral results  to make it look like they advanced   to the runoff

-Some time  between May 28 and June 12   Louie cabral embezzled  40 million units from the  bank of austin island   the premier bank of austin island

-June 12  P.R.Tinselville  turned in little  documents to  the lealoa village police department

-June 17-18  Monarchial 1st round election  Austin Young got 17% and John Smith  got 14% of the vote while P.R tinselville received 7% of the vote and appegio got 6% and cabral placed in 11th with 3% of the vote

-June 27 Monarch  becomes aware of   embezzlement  scandal after a  news reported asked  him a  question in relation to the embezzlement scandal. monarch opens a private investigation and finds  that Louie  cabral sal appegio and   the bank of austin island  are key players after the investigation. then  the monarch turns in  everything to  the KBI . and the lealoa village municipal attorney asked  the embattled speaker  to   turn in all documents  to  the municipal authorities by  5pm June 28th in order to  fax it over to the federal authorities. then in a press conference at 4:45pm  the  authorities said that  if Mr.tinselville  doesn't   turn in all of   the documents  then there would be a  warrant  for the documents and possibly  his arrest.  the speaker turned in all of the documents after the press conference and  he is currently in a  witness protection program  until a  court hearing.

-July 3    federal authorities   announce   charges of   bribery,voter fraud and  grand larceny for cabral  and appegio has charges of aiding  and abetting,weapons possession, and  bribery federal  government states that apppegio could face four  years in  prison per  the sentencing guidelines and  Louie cabral  may face up to  eleven years in prison 

-July 5  federal authorities after a   final preliminary investigation   the KBI revised all of the charges  they  upgraded  the aiding and  abetting  charges  for  Mr appegio to legitimate voter  fraud  and the  authorities said  that  the weapons possession and  bribery charges are on the  table   meaning that   he could   go to  jail for  eight years  and face   fines of  253,000units which is the max the judge can  fine him. the federal  authorities also  found  a   tax evasion  charge  for mr cabral  with the  charges of  bribery,voter fraud and petty larceny he is looking at  a minimum fine  of 506,000 units and  sixteen  years of jail time.

Yesterday in austin island federal prosecutors told the  press  what  the  two ex candidates for the office of monarch are looking at some time in the slammer  but   due to the  criminal sentencing provisions  the  two candidates can   get  any where  from 4-11 years in  prison. Mr. cabral is  facing one count of electoral fraud, one count of  grand larceny, and one  count of  bribery adding up to a  total of 11 years in prison and fines of  256,000 units or more. Only   four weeks   before the monarchial   runoff election    and some  people  in the  kingdom have  some  questions in  which we here at  austin island news  will answer for you. 

Question one:Why isn't  the monarchy  hereditary

Good Question    the  monarchy is not hereditary  beacuse of the fact that in austin island  there are fair and democratic elections   to elect the monarch once every  three years in which  he or  she can renew twice.

Question  two:Why Do We  have  a  runoff election 

The Reason  Why we have a  runoff election is  beacuse no  candidate  got a majority  or exceeded 50% of the  vote In  the  first round  and there fore we  have a  runoff to decide a  winner  by law. in  a first past the post setting Austin young  would have won  even though garnering  less than 20% of the vote.

Question  three: f I am  casting an absentee ballot for the election   when do I have to have it  in 

If you are casting an absentee ballot you must cast it at your municipal post office all early absentee ballots must be in seven days prior to the election. f you want to cast your ballot a little bit later make sure to cast your absentee ballot at your municipal post office by July,29th at 9:00pm.  so the monarch can count all of the ballots.
